I have had my mum staying with me for a holiday as i live near the sea. So is nearly 70 and i 45.

I am married and was dx about 10 years ago. My wife has a lotof traits but no dx.

Its so hard balancing my wife and mum so they dont argue and upset each other.

My wife is less able to make small talk and interact socially. So my mum gets annoyed that she doesnt show interest inthings and talk about stuff like my mum can chit chat.

I love them both but its so much hard work keeping the air clear. She goes home on tuesday after 10 days. The last couple things have been getting ragged at the edges.

Any tips? Lol. More of a rant or pressure release than expecting anything much.

Give your mom a book about adult autism and tell her to educate herself.
