I've tried alot of shelters. My son is safe with Safe Families for now.
But, where can I go?
Nothing seems to be working well.
I'm not even in Knoxville right now, but a domestic shelter in Morristown.

I found recently that I fit more criteria
for borderline personality disorder than HFA. I looked at my evaluation for autism and I didn't meet the criteria.
The professional put me down as having low social skills and problem solving, and even stated that I don't meet the standard for autism but diagnosed me with HFA.

The more pressing matter is where do I go? Where can I stay?
Every place I am at is scary, and my parents won't let me come back unless I act like family to them (their definition).
When they themselves abuse me emotionally.

Thanks for the update, CaThar.

I'm proud of you for ensuring your son's wellbeing, and for taking steps to understand your own needs. I hope you'll find a safe and caring place to stay. ((Hugs))

I mean, I'm at a new shelter. I'm not at the domestic violence one anymore.
I'm at a Salvation Army.
It's okay, but I'm having sensory issues and anxiety.

I had one sucidial thought too last night.
Mostly, and oddly, because I miss my son and am wondering if I really am a big failure.

How are you?

Sorry you are feeling like a failure, you are not though, you are going through a rough patch and it really is hard. Hope things work out for you.
When will you be able to see your son?
Big hug

I feel somewhat reserved and regretting that I didn't use birth control.
My son is good though. It's because of how I am.
I'm going to give gaurdianship of my son to someone I know for a year.
I don't know if I'll be able to get it together.
I'm not sure when yet. Probably soon.

I've also found yes I have HFA, but I may have a personality issue too.

Someone I know.
Not family.
She actually works at child support.

That sounds good. Please try and verify that the information she has given you about who she is is accurate, just to be on the safe side.
Where will you go?
