I'm trying to get through work today but it's hard not to think about vacation in two days! How is everyone else's work going today? This is the place to gather and talk about the office. What we love. What we hate. How we cope.

I'm going to Hawaii to see my brother and his wife who live there. A nice break. Hard to concentrate on this place!

Hawaii!! The beach! the sand! the seafood! *starts to drool*

It'd be specially difficult to concentrate if you already have one of those hawaiian dancer figures in your desktop ;)

By the way I've been doing some freelance work for a business and a person, and I've been getting very little sleep, 2am, 3am, 4am!
I'm also in school so well, I've been arriving late...everyday
Thank God my teachers are very forgiving :)

I worked while I went to school. It is hard. Too much of everything except sleep.

I had to give my hula doll away as a bribe to get something done before I left. Whatever works!

I get home about 6:30 PM Pacific time (GMT-08 US and Canada) on Monday - Wednesday with Thursday off and Friday on again until 6:30 PM. I noticed in the ol' Spam and Kipper (Dino-Aspie Cafe) when I got home, everyone else would have had their dinner and was off the computer, but if I stayed up late enough I got the Aussie contingency early in the morning.

This is a site I will get to and want to cherish!

It's so funny when we leave messages for each other in different time zones. There are blocks of posts from the same person.

Oh, Zanne, I was thinking about Hawaii yesterday, and was trying to remember where my Iz cd was...

How can you even stand being at work?

What airline you taking, and which island?

I'm going to Oahu which is where my brother lives. I don't remember what airline. I'll just follow dh. He'll know all the details. Otherwise I'll start freaking out at the details. LOL But I am also known for getting off planes, getting in the rental car and just driving with no idea where I'm going. It used to be interesting when people had to travel with me at work but I found all kinds of neat things. When I took one of my staff to Salt Lake City, I just started driving and we ended up in Park City. I even found my way back. I hate to plan. I like to just let things happen. I'm sure my brother and dh have plans. They are planning kinds of people. I plan to just hang out and enjoy. I won't want to come back. The weather is perfect there.

sitting in a chair near the beach, the wave gets your feet wet, you take a sip of your margarita

*sigh* cool :)

I worked in a beach here in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta. You could see the sea just by looking out of the windows! it was a very nice job.

have a great time, Zanne ! ! Do listen to some Iz while there, he's a bit of a folk hero in Hawaii USA. Oh yes, and do see the Pearl Harbour Memorial, so you can report back to us.

Oh, yes, Zanne, see the Pearl Harbor Memorial. But just a warning--get there early. A line starts, and it will seem interminably long, but it goes pretty fast. About 7 am.

You'll get to see a film, and I will be interested to hear your response to it if you two decide to go to the Memorial. I was surprised.

Have fun, and I bet you're gone already! See you when you get back!
