Hopes to get back my little lover fading. world turned upside down for me, colorless, blank, tasteless, no more smiles. People threw themselves from skyscrapers in '29. Planet is rotten now, we will stay here until our cells can endure the stink around.People will drown in mobiles, i-pods, pokemons. The great feast of june fireflies is over.

Um, Paolo, I'm not sure what you mean. But long time no see, I'm glad to see your name. I'd ask how you are, but I think you just answered that.

Trying to recover. The loss of the little dog hangs everywhere, there were habits grown in a year. he slept over my bed in the corner. When she realized I was awake she rushed to my face to lick my nose. When I said "shall we have a little walk?" she rushed on my breast in a characteristic way. If I went in the other room she barked in protest. There was a perfect entente a total symbiosis. She was happy, I was happy. We walked on a path along the river, and she trotted along.
There was a little corner of serenity and joy in the big city where I live alone. Why there should be no protection for these little corners, so rare, so rare?

Paolo.....when you said "The great feast of fireflies is over" it struck a chord with me....(I love the fireflies...and know they are only gone...

for a season....spring-time will be here again....(and in the dark, cold, silent sleep of winter)...........we can dream on it...

the stink of smothered grass under the searing hot asphalt will transform.....when the "earth" our mother sends her cleansing wind, her lightening, her pounding rain - to set her beloved free.........once more

p.s.............paolo: I can relate....my hubby and I are dealing with the grief of losing our beautiful pet.....cat..

there is a huge void in our lives right now...and reminders of her everywhere....that are so "bitter-sweet".

grief is never easy........

and should be expressed

I want to say first that your messages help me a lot to assuage my void.
As she was the only living being who was with me night and day in my bubble (no other person) it's like if a drug addict had been deprived of the the drug all of a sudden. I don't like to compare the little thing to a drug, She was a delighful creature and our entente was perfect.
