The is one thing I would like to make clear. It’s difficult. Perhaps step by step.
I wouldn’t like that our discussion slide gradually in a fractious unionism. NO ASD versus NTs, nor any claim of a special status for the ASD people, a morally superior status. It would be destructive and self defeating. First I think the NT we are against are in fact insecure autistics who travestied themselves in “normality” in flight and fear from their insecurities (I have been one of them). So I would recommend: no NT bashing. I have known sweet people with no trace of autism, especially humble people. More difficult to find some of them in CEOS or officers of the army, or officials of rhe bureaucracy, or university professors.
But an other more important thing. Our cultural climate is horrible. It would be enough to see the grey flannel men ( they wear black now, like funeral business employees) walking in the streets and talking frenetically in the mobiles about their ludicrous real estate businesses or other “serious” deals and organizational problems. I don’t see any way out from the slide towards catastrophe. But catastrophe has already set in. We are too weak and fragile and small (in some sense this is a luck) to pretend to reverse the tide. Would you charge a bee of the salvation of beeness. Not even arrange the chairs in the Titanic would make sense. What we can only do is to find, without violence (though sometimes I would myself at least smash some shop windows in the street), some oasis of sweetness and some real understanding of life (Life?) good for anything wanting to join ASD or not.

I like the idea of a peaceful oasis. And Tahloola's picture is a beautiful image of one.

Maybe this could represent the spirit of the thread? :-

those lyrics are actually stolen/adapted from Edgar Allen Poe´s:

Come little children
I'll take thee away, into a land
of Enchantment

Come little children
the time's come to play
here in my garden
of Shadows

Follow sweet children
I'll show thee the way
through all the pain and
the Sorrows

Weep not poor childlen
for life is this way
murdering beauty and
Passions

Hush now dear children
it must be this way
to weary of life and
Deceptions

Rest now my children
for soon we'll away
into the calm and
the Quiet

Come little children
I'll take thee away, into a land
of Enchantment

Come little children
the time's come to play
here in my garden
of Shadows

or...................

Come, ye little children, come, oh, come today,
Come and learn of Jesus, and the Bible way;
He will lead us upward to the land of light,
Where there is no darkness, for the day is bright.
Refrain:
Come, oh, come, ye little children,
Jesus bids the children come, come, oh, come today.
Jesus loves the children, loves them every one,
And He will embrace them in His loving arms,
Keep them from all evil, if they will obey,
And will surely bless them all along the way.
’Tis so sweet to know that Jesus is so kind,
And that He is seeking here and there to find
Precious little children, who will love the Lord,
And obey the biddings written in His word.
He gave us the Bible so that we may know
How to love and serve Him in this world below;
Precious Book from heaven, words of life and truth,
Light to shine forever on the path of youth.
Come, the Lord will lead us in the path of peace,
By the flowing waters that shall never cease,
And His word will guide us, showing us the way
To a home in heaven and eternal day.

It was late autumn last year and I bought her the little blue coat. After that she has always been with me, sleepin on my bed (when she saw I was awake she rushed to lick my face), she ate with me and I walked her along at least twice a day. If I went in the other room she barked to call me back. If I went in the bathroom and I closed the door, she waited patiently before the cosed door. When I left her in the flat to buy a newspaper she leaped at me when I was back (This is one of the things I miss more now).

Kamyla is beautiful and you are very handsome. You made a fine pair. Love her little jacket. I can see why you miss her.
