It also depends on how many big warts you have on your face.

it all depends on a woman's preference, and what they find attractive.
i am a fan of cute guys, but for me personally looks are secondary to personality.

That's me! When I was 29, one said about me, 'He's so cute!' - I don't think she knew I was 29...

^ I agree completely. Actually, I almost prefer "cute". (: So no worries. \

I myself am not sexy in the least bit. If anything, "cute", but not sexy. I wonder what defines the term "sexy"? I guess it depends on the person anyway. You may be incredibly sexy to somebody, and not just cute.

I don't just look cute, I behave and move in a cute way as well. Always indetermined, childish innocent. As if I never had any social experience at all, which I do.

LOL, I thought you were a woman.

I was going to say you look sexy to me.

Well cute is better than nothing plus I usually call guys I find attractive cute.

I'd say I'm not cute nor sexy yet I do tend to get treated like a child and I also have a problem with relating to many adults around my age.

Kenjuudo, with that avatar I definitely thought you were cute. After finding out you're a guy I feel as if I should take a shower. I'm the same as MissConstrue, any member of the opposite sex I find attractive I just call them cute. Cute always seems a little less aggressive than calling them hot or sexy. BTW being called cute is never a bad thing.

I have a thread in the "Getting to know each other" forum where I specify that I'm a guy. It also tells parts of my story. The thread is called "Hi, I'm new too!".

MissConstrue: How exactly do I look sexy on a picture that reveals nothing? And how come I don't believe you actually mean it? (Don't even try to explain! Both questions are purely rethorical and their answers are obvious.)

dedhead66: I call my three little sisters cute. I never called my past girlfriends cute, simply because they're not my sisters.

Btw, the avatar is supposed to be Tifa, a character from Final Fantasy 7.

Sorry, I haven't had time to catch up on your life story yet. Slowly making my way around to it though.

The answer is obvious. She assumed that picture was a representation of you. The girl in the picture is gorgeous.

That's fine. You're free to call them whatever you want.

Question:
What is the meaning of "cute" when used by a girl in reference to a guy?

Answer#1
It seems to vary between US and UK English.
In the UK "cute" is more "sweet, nice" you call kittens cute, teddy bears are cute, small children are cute (actually most of them aren't, but thats not the point!)
If you call a guy "cute" its normally a way of saying "You're very sweet but- no thanks". I've never known a UK man refer to a woman/ girl as "cute".

Although lately I seem to have found myself using "cute" in a more US way (e.g. finding someone attractive)!

Answer#2
i always use that when i see a guy who i have a crush on...so to me, it means i'm attracted to him, or simply think what he's doing is sweet.

dedhead66: I'm sorry if I come out rude. It's just the way I write. Note that I didn't beg you to read my 'life story', but explained what you'd expect to find in my thread if you eventually decided to peek.

Also, about the picture, I thought she [MissConstrue] meant one of the pictures I posted, not the avatar. Mostly because most people don't really use their real picture as avatar anyway. I might change it though if it causes further confusions.

You didn't come across as rude at all. I'm the one who should apologize for being a little too flippant with my responses to you. I normally try to treat everyone the way I want to be treated and I was a little rough on you.

Do whatever works for you but don't change your avatar to please someone else. If this picture expresses what you want the world to know about you or about how you feel then keep it. And I don't mean that as if I were giving you permission.

There are enough other problems in the world to deal with so don't let anyone make your choice of avatar another.

To me an avatar doesn't have to represent me or any of my feelings at all. Of course it could, but it doesn't have to. In my case, I simply have a beautiful girl as an avatar. That's basically it.

Yep, I know what you mean. The first avatar I ever had was a pic of Avril Lavigne. Man is she so beautiful?

This isn't the pic but close to it.
