Being an educator who is involved with training ECEs, I find this really problematic on many levels. But as an Aspie, my thoughts were, "Duh! Of course!" Both my parents taught karate, and I never got into it. I'm a natural at rock climbing though. Flat surfaces confused me I guess. But I learned everything from watching... TV, people, social interactions. How people learn is my main obsessive interest, aside from wanting to do useful things to help people. The plot just seems to me, from my personal experience, to be a no-brainer.
I showed it to two colleagues who are specialists in inclusive education. They both had all kinds of issues about it until I explained my position, and they immediately got that.
One of my students have a DVD of it, as it has been released in Asia, and I'm hoping to see it soon.
