Barack Obama's Stance on Autism and Asperger's

If one looks at what the Democratic Obama White House actually has done, the First Lady has singled out fat children in the USA as being the major priority (not Asperger or Autism) for the Obama White House. The First Lady has vowed to eliminate fat children from the USA within about twenty years - the message being - USA children should look only like kids from Hollywood, California movies. That's actually what the Obama White House has done.

If you want to look at who actually did stuff for people with disabilities, it would be President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush.

Anyways Obama lied, and people fell for it. The mainstream media lied, and people fell for it.

1. Except obesity is unhealthy. She isn't doing it for cosmetic reasons; she's doing it because she wants kids to be healthy.

No matter what side of the aisle you're on, and even if plans aren't followed through, isn't is good that the President is talking about it?

You know, just to generate more dialogue and awareness.

IDK, he appointed Ari Ne'eman, who's against Autism Speaks and supports helping autistic people instead of curing him.

Finally based on what information I can find an Obama appointee that is not a nut. Seriously, I think the Republicans can get get behind him for his nomination. Especially if/when he talks about why he is against Autism Speaks.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't urge people to write their senators though.

well, he can say whatever he wants, but lets see if he does anything about it before a new president is elected, or if he turns to the Demonic organization known as autism speaks

I agree. I don't even think he really wants to help us; he just wants to cure us, which I'm not sure that I want.

and yet you guys support someone who is on record voting in support of late-term and partial birth abortions. He wants money to fund research into causes, no doubt one of the treatments will be abortion of fetuses found to have the suspected genetic markers.
