Baby fags

And using fag instead of cigarette makes it worse.


Ok well fag does not even mean homosexual....american english is stupid in that sense, and yes I do live in the U.S but still. Sure maybe at first glance the title is misleading to people who do not know that fag means ciggerette, but once you read the thread I think its pretty obvious what the OP is talking about.

Did you miss my last paragraph? No, even with the correct meaning of "fags" is not at all clear what the OP is talking about from the subject heading. Clear as mud. Thankfully, the post itself is plenty clear.

Not trying to take sides, but when I was a child growing up in the Northeastern US, fag meant a male homosexual. I remember the boys in school using that term to insult someone. I also remember a co-worker from the UK who got embarrassed when we used the word "knob." She told us that in her part of the world, knob meant penis. Amazing what the world wide web can teach us, eh? :wink:

Well yes that is how that word gets used in the U.S but I think a ciggerette being a fag makes more sense considering what the word originally meant.

The word is a shortened version of "fa***t" meaning a bundle of firewood. It seems that back in the days when it was in favor for good Christian folk to burn witches at the stake, they would also burn homosexuals.

It does mean that it sort of makes sense to refer to something that is burned and smoked as a "fag".

Well, think about this:I am immune to cigarette smoke, aren't I really superior to you.If you worried about your personnel space being invaded move to the mountians with no car exhaust.People just need to put up with it.Why not outlaw children in public because they scream and that hurts my ears?Why not outlaw incense because you can't handle the smoke?Let's make it so your lungs close up if your breath smells bad.What gives you the right to take away another person's right?It's this "my wants is more important than your desire" propaganda.Your the kind person that believes one person's body needs to be protected from their desires.Your the kind of person that took away a person right to drugs and nudity.Theres no way these people doing these things affects you in any long lasting way. :evil: On pregnancy, a women shouldn't smoke when pregnant but don't spit on a women for doing it.The kid probably shouldnt be alive by your standards because that will just make another demon smoker.

My mum smoked when she was pregnant, drank when she was pregnant and didn't breastfeed.

Why am I not even more screwed up than I am? :lol:

I used to smoke myself, but I quit.

I don't want kids myself. I do get annoyed at the moralising people do over every action a pregnant woman takes, though. It's bad to smoke when pregnant and I admit I find it upsetting to watch (even though I was once one of those babies in the womb getting a nicotine fix). I know from experience though, quitting smoking is hard. The mother is suffering from an addiction - she's not wilfully trying to hurt her baby.
