Did you people scroll down all the way? It has every single thing AGAINST these things on it, including The Autism Acceptance Project, the Neurodiversity weblog, Autism Hub, etc. Why am I the only one defending this site? It is blatantly against any eugenic idea whatsoever, and is trying to get that message out to everyone. The name is just making fun of a statement a stupid scientist made and its title is just a way to get peoples' attention to get a pro-autism message out and promote autistic rights. I have not seen a single thing positive said about this website when it probably helps people access more information than any other autism site I found besides Neurodiversity. I am completely ashamed for you all...

My views on this will come another time. I dropped by to see what everything was about and at least was happy for myself that I found a more consolidated source I could use to get around the Internet faster and keep in touch with autism news.

I agree with the above. During research for my thesis on schizophrenia I cam across a shocking chapter about 'mercy' killings in the early 20th century. All sorts of people; blind, deaf, homosexual, epelieptic, mentally handicapt and any other people different than the norm were killed.
Psychiatrists developed a theory that different and undesireable behaviour is genetic and therefor they used this theory to justify compulsory sterilization, which became later murder.
Around 1938 psychiatrists and doctors starved children with psychological or psysical abnormalities and later gassed them to death.
At the end of 1941 the gas chambers were dismantled and shipped to eastern europe and used to kill Jews.

What nobody seems to notice is how autism is genetic.

That should mean you can abort all the unwanted babies you want, the next one will also have autism regardless (most likely IMHO)

Those people are being sick and cruel! Just because we have brains that are wired differently doesn't make us any less human! Would go up to a person born with no arms and say they aren't human? A person born without a brain? A person born as a conjoined twin? How about this one, a normal person? NO! Just straight no across the boards. I don't care if they buy the NASA Space Shuttle Assembly Line Building! It doesn't change anything. It's inhuman, the Holocaust all over again, and so forth! Are the ones trying to "cure" us becoming mini Hitlers?

If my parents knew I was going to be autistic during a prenatal test. They would have still given me a chance at life and raise me. Other parents should do the same. I often ask if killing autistic people even if they're unborn counts as genocide and I never get an answer. In the game Half Life 2, the combine make sex illegal and develop a device that disrupts conception and pregnancy in women. If such a device were made real and targeted towards specific groups, is that genocide as well?

Relax. I doubt they'll make it compulsory for Autists to have a prenatal test and abortion - at least, not for the majority... as long as we're reproducing, we can't be wiped out.

Though, it's always a possibility which we need to guard against, if public opinion swings enough to make bringing in extra controls on anyone with an Autism diagnosis, such that we're treated like criminals on probation before committing any crime, and can be easily committed to mental institutions. But we have 1-2% of the population. If we decided to start making a nuisance of ourselves... not that I'm advocating terrorism, but a minority can do a lot of economic damage if they've no other option. Especially if it plunged the US into a civil cyberwar, resulting in significant economic damage as they find out how foolish connecting the thrusters on satellites to the internet, even indirectly, really is... I suggest a price of $1 million per captive, and $100 million for each life lost to them...
