Also, anyone who sympathizes with her even in the slightest should have their children taken by Juvenile Services. There is NO justification for this.

Of course, even if she does get maximum penalty (not a chance), they will probably execute her 'humanely', via lethal injection. Personally I think that method of execution is too good for her.

Sadly, the media and the justice system is gonna justify this s**t instead of getting to the point and just admitting that she's a selfish b***h who resorted to this because she couldn't take the responsibility of his special needs or accept his differences.

It's horrible and wrong if she killed her son, but there's no statement that his being autistic was the reason. If you read the link I posted earlier, it would appear that it had something to do with a child pornography ring. No where does it state that she said raising an autistic child was the reason. Of course all the details are not known. Obviously this incident has hit a raw nerve and I understand that but all the facts are still unknown. I'm not trying to defend anybody's actions, but this thread is starting to sound like lynch mob. Let the police do their job before we break out the pitchforks.

We're not going to lynch anybody, Aimless, but I think we've got every right to be very angry about it. When an autistic child gets killed, it feels to me almost like they've killed a little brother or sister that I'll never know. It's a loss to the autism community and a loss to the world, and it is inevitable that we will be angry.

Parents killing their children/family and then themselves is a very common story. I don't see how it's any worse of a crime than it already is just because the kid happens to be autistic.

In fact, I find it somewhat unsettling that ABC needs to use labels like "Socialite mom kills autistic son!" to catch readers' attentions

My father and step-mother viciously attacked and tried to kill me, gave me a TBI in March 1992. Fortunately, I lived. The Court knew I had Autism and told me I "deserved to be beaten" and I got no protection or help from anyone. Just the opposite - my father and step-mother were financially rewarded and rewarded in other ways by the courts and the system, as well.

Wow, this story has become pretty crazy.
Still, it could have been staged. She could have killed the boy, then staged a suicide attempt. Unless they found drugs in her system?
But even if it wasn't staged the rape of an autistic child is a terrible terrible thing, and those involved should hang and burn and have their corpses eaten by vultures.
And instead of killing her son she could have protected him. I mean lots of children have been through this and their parents don't kill them.
It reminds me of that episode when a woman kills her baby because she wanted to send it to heaven. Some people are just sick.

What a lot of violent people are members here, talking of hanging and hurting another human being.

Just the same as the mum really.

For everyone who is shouting for the murder of this woman, you will be pleased to know that she is suicidal anyway, so your barbaric attempts to call for 'justice' will no doubt be fulfilled in one way or another.

Kaleido - ditto on that! Ironic how murderous people become in the face of murder (actually its not ironic, its entirly predictable, and what makes the whole system of justice such a scam, imo)
