There is no actual evidence supporting that vaccines make things worse.

What happens is that children tend to be vaccinated around the same time that some autistic symptoms show themselves (like losing language). This is correlation, not causation.

What is the difference between regressive autism and original delay autism?

Regressive Autism "apparently" doesn't appear until later in life. Typically around fifteen at the earliest. "Original delay," refers to what we know as typical Autism.

Immunological deficiency can play a role in vaccine reactions at times?

I have an immune disorder and believe me the MMR did NOT help me one bit. I developed measles and got to spend a week in the hospital. Now my son regressed after his MMR but I don't know that it caused his Autism. I think there is something else at work here. Personally I think if a closer look were taken at his immune system or our genetics something would be found that isn't right. I have a daughter who has mild PDD-NOS but she is not fully vaccinated(neither myself nor my son developed immunity after the vaccines) Based on my observations I don't believe it is in her best interest.

I fully agree with the herd immunity idea for those that CAN take vaccines and believe for 90% of the population it is perfectly safe.

I live in the least sunny city in the world, practically, but I am paranoid about taking too much vitamin D.

Well the guide i posted gives an ok indicator. I am myself taking less than i possibly should, but a person can easily take about 1000ug without any negative side effects, possibly up to about 5000ug.

I am taking around 500ug a day until i get an oil based one which i know is absorbed more effectively so i do not need to worry about lots of tablets passing through my system. so, even take a dose as small as i am will make some kind of a difference.

That'll teach me not to OPEN the links.

Then I suppose the question stands.

Seems the difference is really about whether there seems to be "standard" development, then a sudden apparent LOSS of skills, as opposed to a steady delay. Typically the "loss" appears around 15 to 30 MONTHS.

Thanks for the correction. Annoying because I remember reading about that and had forgotten.
