Well it's stupid to have laws against drugs. We are paying billions of dollars for a war on drugs that ends up doing more harm then the drugs them self.
The idea of hard drugs being legal but in a controlled way is a good idea studies have showed that THIS will infact rapidly decline the rates of overdoses from these drugs.
They were doing it I don't know if they still are but in Vancouver, Canada they were having a harm reduction clinic that supply's needle users with clean needles and a doctor regulates.
This worked out to be very good and shows that it makes sense to legalize all drugs.
There must be a better resolution.
I cannot agree more.
As long as there is a demand for the drugs, the drug war is complete waste of money and time.

Well I do agree there, and well prohibition does not usually work........my issue is more with not feeling I can trust our government with much would the really be able to regulate such things in a rational way? But if it were up to me I would be fine with it all being legal as long as there was accurate information out so people could make rational, educated choices on drug use.

One funny thing about the drug war is......herion which is derived from opium is illegal and so it makes sense our government tries to stop the production of opium poppies. But I wonder where do they get all that opium to make other opium derived drugs that doctors can prescribe?...hmm. So yeah the drug war is a load of crap its just about profit I imagine.

That's exactly my intention here. What the government should do with the drug money is having very good drug and alcohol information programs well alcohol is a drug but people still get in trouble with alcohol and do not know it is a drug.
Not to mention the billions of dollars we would be saving that can go into other things such as building schools, improving roads and keeping the real criminals in jail that rape and kill innocent children. Why should say a guy who say was selling some pot have to be in the same room as a guy who killed his wife and raped his children?

Well yes that would be cool......don't know if it will happen especially in my lifetime, but yeah that would be an ideal way for it to work. But yeah I think selling some weed is much less harmful than killing people.

I know man I'm kinda depressed that is the way things are. but selling weed even in very large amounts doesn't even come 1 percent close to hurting children I hate people that hurt kids with a passion I think if its bad enough the statistic pedophiles should be sent to death row and have to wait a week and these guys are waiting for there sentence these guys get what ever they did to the victim done to them. f**k I should run for prime minster I would try my best to change the world but I'm too uneducated and have problems with the law my self.
You know what would be nice, people not thinking that cocaine or heroin are somehow acceptable in a real environment. All sorts of dangerous chemicals should be kept under strict control. Misuse is punished for them. Just because Heroin and Cocaine cause a high doesn't mean that they can be lumped in with something more contentious and arguably acceptable like cannabis. Cocaine and Heroin have devastating effects on brain chemistry. Some people find their day to day rhythm shattered by not being able to smoke. With Cocaine and Heroin a barrier is broken above that were psychological hell breaks loose if one doesn't take the drug but at the same time the psychological hell occurs even if one doesn't try to stop.
Any arguments that stopping drugs as pointless is hilarious. The high-tide of hard drug smuggling was back in the eighties. The hard drug criminal industry itself was started with some circumspect official support such as for cocaine when the FBI supported various Southern American rebel groups.

That is kind of how I feel, I want to try and change things for the better......but I lack experiance, and though I actually have a clean record if I were to get caught using cannabis by the authorities it could f*ck a lot of things up for me. But I am stubbron so I don't stop doing things I don't see as wrong just because the law says no. Though I live in the U.S so I cannot wish to be prime minster, maybe president but yeah our presidents don't usually have as much power as people give them credit for.

That's excellent dude keep smoking weed do not stop your use for the corrupted law that concludes that there protecting the public by keeping marijuana out lawed.
If it is ruining your life then do your self a favor and stop smoking for a bit but don't say your quitting becuase its a harmful word unless you really want too and will stick with it.
sure there are some long term health effects needless to say but that's nothing because one day in our life we would all pay the ultimate price.

Well I see it like this if my use of cannabis was interfering with me badly I have never gotten so bad I was smoking like 10 joints a day anyways if it did get that bad I would cut down or stop until I got my s**t together.
My parents are both against drugs my dad even tried to put me in a psychiatric hospital for smoking and he successfully did by bringing a police escort but I was out in a day because the doctor looked at the police and told them "He's not the problem its you (the cop) and the father that are a problem" lol. I like that doctor he knew there was something wrong with the system and corrected the situation.
I was so pissed off at my dad for a long time know I just try to get money from him as often as I can.
If you want I can PM you a list of evil things I did too my dad because I was so pissed off and still am mad at the guy.
