I'm a chick actually. I do feel bad for that guy to an extent but it only goes so far. He's like Lindsay Lohan. He loves internet attention bad/good and mindlessly exposes himself to it. He's been made famous by it I might add. He's quite narcissistic and doesn't even like people with Aspergers. He posts a lot of his disturbing ideas online for everyone to see. I'm sure if someone offered to help him he'd out right refuse it. The guy is essentially a train wreck I feel sorry for him because he brings the bulling upon himself. Eventually though I think he's got to smarten up, maybe he shouldn't be online posting disturbing things.

The way I see it, he's basically made a huge mess of his life trolling for as much attention as he has for so long. He's a walking laughing stock. So I can't really have much - indeed any - sympathy for him. This guy has been made a living, breathing example of what happens to you when you don't learn by your mistakes.

He knew what he was doing. If he didn't, he shouldn't have been anywhere near a computer.

How's that for self-righteousness?

According you people deserve to be bullied because they do not learn from mistakes that have no reason to mean that they should be bullied. Disgusting.

Arbitrary reasoning. Vague. Doesn't justify something that is in of itself always wrong, which is bullying

I would say quite a bit.

This was a video he put up on Little Big Planet. It was copied onto the CWCville Library channel on YouTube (i.e. watch it to the very end).

He claims its a satire but personally my intuition finds this quite disturbing.

Of course he claims that it's satire. he's a nutter But not even nutters deserve bullying. Maybe ridicule, maybe satire. Not bullying.
:]
I mock him for sure.

Chris Chan should think about what he posts on the internet before he posts. He is capable of learning what not to post, but since he stays in his room all day, posting stuff that he'll get flamed for is probably the only way for him to interact with others.

Bullying has no place: I agree with this

Ignorance is bliss. While I don't believe that bullying him or trolling him does anything good, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable being around this guy in person due to his personal beliefs (regarding women and non-whites). I do think that the less attention (neg or pos) he gets, the better for everyone, including him. He grew up like some of us with a poor understanding of Asperger's and how one with it should cope with it. Sometimes it has a tendency to warp our minds.

Aye, but in the end I am just against bullying. Only mean-spirited people advocate or tolerate bullying for any reason.

I don't know if this guy has grown up or not but the unfortunate thing about the Internet is that his, erm, 'escapades' will stay on the Internet forever and will haunt him for the rest of his life. That isn't good by any means but he knew the risks.

Ridicule is okay, but bullying isn't? What if the former is the latter?

As in, where do you draw the line?

Indeed. What if it's a mixture of both? What if in some cases, richly-deserved ridicule is seen as bullying by others?

Ridicule is when you mock someone for their actions. Bullying is when you mock someone for who they are.

What's the difference? It's the difference between pointing out that someone is doing something wrong and hammering them for it and habitually picking on someone because you want to.

The first is okay as long as your perception isn't warped and you don't do something that isn't in proportion to what happened. The second is simply disgusting psychopathic self-gratification and social sleaze in all its forms.

I think that it's fair to attack someone if they have attacked you or offended you personally. But it is the sort of bullying that is for no other reason than taking pleasure in watching someone suffer that I find disgusting and wrong.

I don't think they're bullying him so much as ridiculing him for his mad actions.

Nonsense. Bullying goes further than ridicule. Bullying can happen when someone deserves no ridicule of course but to say that people who do things to Chris chandler aren't bullying are absurd. You were earlier saying that he brings these sorts of things upon himself. Now you turn it in to a question of them not bullying him? Rubbish.

Go on to CWCki. His bad actions are just a weak pretect for them to bully when they only have reason to ridicule.

Both wiki blogs amount to personal attacks and would be unacceptable on any public forum.
