I have received the following stock reply.
I look forward to a further email, at some point.

Subject: Message Regarding the NYU Child Study Center's Online Town Hall
Thank you for participating in the NYU Child Study Center’s online town hall meeting on children’s mental health on Tuesday.
We had an overwhelming turnout and were unable to address every question and comment submitted by participants during the allotted time. Please note, however, that we will respond to these unanswered questions directly via email. We ask that you please be patient as we attend to these questions in the coming weeks.
We appreciate your thoughts, questions, and insights and we look forward to working together to benefit the 15 million children and teenagers with psychiatric and learning disorders.

I have to say that I really dislike HTML formated emails. When on Windows, I usually block/delete them immediately, as they regularly contain viruses and hardly ever contain anything I want to see.
The above got filtered straight into my "junk" folder, so it was quite lucky that I read it at all. I only glance quickly at the subject lines of mail in my junk folder before deleting it. As it happened, I just caught sight of "NYU" in the subject before deleting this.
I would imagine some proportion of other recipients of the message will not see it, for the same reasons that I nearly missed it.

I received the same email; although I knew who it was from right away because I'd already saved the address into my address book, so it was in my inbox.

I say we email them a link to this thread in protest.
It might be better to write up a letter and put it in the body of an email. People are less likely to spend the time to follow links and then read a long thread.
So we could sum up the points and send an email. Although I wouldn't be surprised if ASAN hasn't already drawn up a letter of complaint.
If they had, I would like to put my name to it.
Me, too
