Wow. Such a fine collection of fear-based BS, I have never seen in my life.

Heath Ledger's joker?

He has some aspieish traits...

but somehow I don't think so. The reason why I don't think so is because while the joker clearly had no qualms about harming people(lack of compassion), he seemed uncommonly good at manipulating other people--and did so intuitively (empathy/social savy)Somehow seeing the Joker as an aspie doesn't add up--but then, that's just me.

yeah it is true. We have all of these rapists who are NT but that is never flaunted in the media, killers because someone isn't trendy enough, bullies but not a peep about what kind of trendy stores they shop at and trendy music they listen to.

Obviously a common theme to pick on non-conformists and leave those that are conformists out. Conformists need to come out and demand that they be included!

I've heard this several times before over and over and can't stand to know that there are some people out there whom feel that various anti-social behaviors must always be tied in with Autistic related conditions or such.. Personally, I doubt the article somewhat cause most autistic people tend to be fairly law-abiding and in most cases there is only a small handful(minority) that tend to follow such a dark path but, this need not be made out to equate that having Aspergers is something bad or all..

This does it for me at this moment..

Good catch. The are pushing treatment & so demonize autistics to motivate people to their "cure".

Aspiesh traits like not being able to put eyeliner on at all cause of an inability to keep one's hand still? Okay, maybe not all Aspies are bad at eyeliner application, but I sure am. It's one of the main reasons I quit wearing the Goth makeup.

8O Scary thoughts people have, the evidence seems very dodgy really.

Worrying how many people think things like that in real life though. Once met a person who asked if I was worried about the 'fact' that most male people with AS would grow up to be rapiests as they didn't empathese with other people.

Personally being AS myself, empathy isn't a problem, i've always been confused about both what I feel and what others feel but I know for a fact that when it clicks I get empathy by the bucket loads, and feel absoluntly terrible if I even think that I might have hurt someones feelings.

In fact my AS means i'm naturally terrible at deception. I have never unerstood why people hurt other people and my morals are very strongly ingrained. If anyone gets hurt I have a natural reaction to help, even when I have no idea how.

 potential serial killer I am not, and I highly doubt most serial killers have AS.

I dont know if anybody said this but these killer were psychopaths with possible aspergers. I mean it has to be taken seriously because yes i can understand that psychopathy with aspergers could lead to big problems, but its psychopathy that is the major dangerous condition.

unless anybody know if psychopathy is higher in aspergers, then why is this an issue ?

when I was a teen I seriously thought of killing my mum and stepdad. I remember making a phone call when I was 15. I wanted a person dead but I didnt want to take away someone's father. If it had of been ok with this person. I would have killed. There is no doubt. As an adult I went through a stage were I was so angry. More than Ive ever been. I wanted to kill some one.
It could have come to that especailly given how confused I was.
This person would not have deserved at all so does that make me a psychopath? I have had many assessment. I have had my medical and criminal history examined by a forsenic psych and I havnt been labelled with any psychopathic disorder.
There was this woman in prison I got along well with. I found out that she had fantasy's about torturing people too. We both just laughed.
because its just expression of your anger or hurt in some way.
I dont feel or think about hurting no one now cause I am not hurting no more. I know a woman in prison who had the psychopath type behaviour. She said, "I have to stop fighting or I am scared I am going to kill someone" because when she went off
she really did and she couldnt stop. So too some other women very violent assaults were they could have killed them. The woman that was sadistic thinking like I me. She wasnt autistic. I have autism. None of the other women in prison did but I could relate to them. I understood exactly how they felt. So does that make us all psychopaths. Some of them was caring mothers and when you got to know them they was the most beautiful people.

No, the women I am talking about was the most respected and popular. They had outgoing personalities. They showed no AS traits at all.
