instead of endlessly argueing about what autistic people are or are not why dont just accept there are many different types of autistic people
and take it from there.a different solution for different autistics instead of finding one solution

Yes, and it takes many different organizations and associated efforts to attempt to provide those solutions. No one organization, group, or individual can do it all. All efforts that provide net beneficial results for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, are worthy causes.

Hmm, I don't particularly like your tone. No one is forcing me to read through all the responses. I was just speaking off the top of my head from my own experience.

My parents put me in a social skills class once (more or less forced) and I found it highly offensive. I had very little say in the matter.

Also, I am not completely uninformed. My parents attend meetings all the time and I hate that they do it. My opinion is just as valid as anyone else's. You know what I might not even have Asperger's but I'm talking about the hysteria, you know the hysteria. Too many people are treated as if they are disabled when they are not.

If I have Aspergers it is not my disability. My disability is depression.

I don't speak for everyone. I just say for the first thing that pops into my head most of the time.

I agree. I am one of the old ones -- those who signed up to this place when Plank still had his principles on. Then the criminal-minded group known as Autism Speaks took over (with Plank's consent, of course), in the attempt of winning back the very people they alienated and vilified, and that changed how I perceived this place.

Clearly, Delphiki, you don't understand what you are talking about. I know that the Mafiosi "helps" fund this site, and like I mentioned before, I am speaking against the evil organisation in their own arena -- or should I say, in an arena that they sponsor using the money they defrauded from paranoids.

Clearly you need to work on your reading comprehension. The quote you pulled from aghogday's post is saying that everyone in this thead is being a volunteer for that organization. He is saying that you are as much as him, because it is ensuring that the free advertising does not die.

How is it a Nazi group?
