How come I'm living on my own, instead of living in an institution, than?

You seem to be completely unable to actually give me any evidence of that.

I talked to some parents of autistic children IRL, and I asked them if they had to choose between a child with autism and an NT child, they would choose an NT child, because it's a burden to have a child with autism.

I'm an aspie, and I would definitely choose an NT child instead of a child with autism without a second thought, just ask your parents and friends if they would want to.

That's too general a thing to say. Of course some parents would not want their autistic children to have difficulties (particularly if their children have severe autism) but at the same time a lot of people would not change their autistic children for NT children. However it depends on the parents and children as obviously some autistic children are extremely difficult to care for. Besides a lot of NT children are nightmares.

You can't compare NT children to children with autism, NT children have a future, children with autism don't, they end up in institutions.

Oh that's a load of rubbish. Not all children with autism go to an institution. Many grow up to be very successful. Besides again not all NT children have a future. It depends on a number of factors.

Sounds like you've been drinking the AutismSpeaks kool-aid.

How's about you show me solid reliable data proving that most autistic people end up in institutions? I bet you a million of your local currency that you can't.

Yes. And I have already told you that this video is not a reliable source of information as it was set up and fixed, plus Autism Speaks are very much in the business of producing propaganda that shows only one (very negative) side of autism.

These children will end up in institutions, they will never be able to live on their own.

Again, that video was set up to look worse than the reality. Click here.

I've encountered a few autistics IRL, and they look like they will end up living in institutions.

LMAO! I literally laughed at that one! You're telling me you can look at someone and tell me if they'll end up in an institution? If I send you a photo of me, can you predict my future too? I'm very interested in this

"LMAO?" What does that mean?

I've not only seen them, but I've been going to school with them for one year, I know how little self-help skills they have.

If you want to send me a picture of yourself, please do.

LMAO = Laughing My Ass Off

You've seen one autistic person, you say? That must of course mean that you know all of them then!

BTW, I have yet to receive that evidence.

Well judging from the kids they portray in their videos, they're aimed more at eliminating classical autism more than Asperger's. I've never seen anything but severely autistic kids in their videos.
