And then Autism Speaks even has the nerve to ask for a donation on their YouTube page! :x

That's exactly my problem with it. Plus they don't even want to hear our opinions and they put a presumptuous name on it like Autism Speaks.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the last post--so people with severe autism don't deserve to live? My cousin Michael, who is fourteen years old, doesn't deserve to live? Who died and made you God?

People who live with severe autism today just needs to be cured.

I wouldn't let them anywhere near my cousin. He's perfectly happy the way he is. You need to leave him alone too and stop assuming that he needs or wants a cure.

Autism Speaks is a mighty organization, they will cure the autistics with sheer force, if it means to beat them until they faint.

Seriously? Now I know you're a troll because you took your character too far.

You seem to not understand that Autism Speaks is the Nazi's of our time, the Nazi's were incredibly mighty, and Autism Speaks has an incredible amount of followers, and the quest to cure autism is a big one just like the one the Nazi's wanted to fulfill, other than that the quest Autism Speaks want to fulfill will better the world.

By beating them up, I mean to do it the way the cops do it with drug-addicts when they refuse to live in a rehab.

There's no other solution than to do so, unless you kidnap them.

How else do you suggest autistics should be cured?

I think that it may be possible if they don't beat them up, but trick them, they will have their way in the end.

1. Might does not make right.
2. WOW. You seriously think the world would be better off if everyone with low-functioning autism was dead?

Just try to imagine how it would feel if your son wouldn't give you a hug, be there for you when you had a tough time etc.

That's awful. We all know you should only have kids for your own benefit. That's why it's okay to beat them when you're in a drunken rage, because who cares about what's good for them?

I would never hit my child, autist or not, however, I would be extremely sad if my own son wouldn't support me through tough times.

I am extremely sad your parents don't support you. You better give the computer back to them before daddy gets mad.

It would most likely be because he didn't know how to express his support or his love. This is probably because most research is going towards "curing" him instead of communicating with him.

Also, what about NT's who are perfectly aware of how to express support and compassion, but choose not to do so?

My dad owns his own computer, and I live with my mom.

That may be, but I don't think it's the case for severe autistics who live inside themselves.

I am glad you say it is you that doesn't think this---therefore admitting it is your opinion. But I can tell you it is not my opinion. And it isn't the opinion of many here that autistics cannot find a way to communicate.
