Oh and by the way John Hubble was one of my drywall bosses and his relative was the famous astronomer. If I told him about my invention maybe he would have let the other workers carry my work load.

I lasted a week at that job even without telling him about my invention.

True. And it's not at all an argument in support of autism supremacy.

So anyways I have no idea how the topic of me and my life at the moment became the main topic of intrest...but anways I have no issue with being happy with having aspergers or autism.....I have an issue with 'autism supremacy' as in we're somehow better then everyone.

I think that I am crap but I think because I am autistic I deserve special priveleges like requiring other people to take the burden for my work load because I am too slow.

See my post before that cited

"Basic strategy in setting ones value in the labour market is to start with a high asking price and let the market set your value but starting with a low price is a recipe for disaster.

Same thing applies here, a supremicist viewpoint is a logical opening ambit.

Whether or not the world will "buy it" is another matter."

I think that belief in your worth and competitive value is essential if one is to get what one wants.

Maybe because of the original post :D

"but part of the reason I did not enjoy my childhood was because of people who one would catagorize as normal like to act like they where superior to me because I was a bit different.....so why would I want to develop the attitude that I am better then someone because of some disorder I was born with?"

Well yes that was to explain one of the reasons I do not like the idea of pretending I am superior to everyone else because I have a mental disorder.

AS ain't a disorder its just different wiring. It brings strengths and weaknesses and you have to figure out how to optimise your strengths and minimise your weaknesses.

It is the same as being short or tall, male of female, red head or brunette etc.

It is not a mental disorder.

Well it effects my life in a negative way so yes it is a disorder not to mention it is in the DSM that book with all the mental disorders that might be the wrong abreviattion.......but maybe some people find more positive aspects of it and it interferes positively with their lives in which case its not a disorder. Also your hair color does not really effect your personality.

Accepting your strengths and weaknesses is a sign of maturity.

And don't be so sure that hair colour and personality are not inter related

I do not think ones hair color causes the same kind of difficulties aspergers does.

My blonde hair did when I was younger. I was considered oblivious.

Ever studied the caste system in India and how difficult it is for a girl with dark skin tones to get a "good" marriage?

Like I say, accept who you are accurately and makle the best of your situation.

Yes I am aware of that system and its certainly not something I agree with...I do not really understand the relevency. and I do make the best of my situation but that does not make the depression, anxiety or PTSD go away.
