That is just the opposite of the OP description and you know that. Reversing it on me lacks fortitude and originality in follow through. Simply put the statement a neurological diversity exists does not denote a specific agenda. It's been some forms of pride for instance that has attempted to shove their agenda down everyone's throats or else they hate people like me. Instead I think it's simply a statement that a diversity exists regardless of how someone desires to improve any disability aspect of which.

Using poor grammar and ad hominem attacks will not win friends nor will it influence people.

Truly wish the most vocal self-advocacy groups would realize some of that. The ones that have approached the public is divisive ways making demands for money and with guilt about abortion. With regards to grammar I will explain once to you it is the result of disability and there is nothing I've found to figure out what I'm doing wrong other then ",'s" which other then for a few spots I know for sure is hit and miss.

If you could learn to tolerate differing opinions in a polite manner and stop with the "pride mite"" rants people might be more inclined to tolerate your deficient writing style and poor grammar and spelling.

I spend allot of time editing. For every time I've mentioned pride mite (4-5 times) in all of Google of everyone vs. the 177,000 that have been called curebe my grammar and supposed intellectual inferiority is mentioned at least ten to twelve times. If you can't handle a person who is not as perfect as you speaking for himself and making up a term when the likes of you assert just how much better you are then be polite in the first place. With anyone new all I expect is reasonable discussion out of respect and an exchange of ideas to evolve ideas with. If you don't want to offer that then just keep at it and I'll call a pride-mite for being one.

That's the 6th time in the history of the world according to Google!

The injustice socially against those who contrive against those who care, historically instilled hostility between groups and belittled compassion by calling it pity must be a human rights crime. About time some stood up to the bullies. And about time they are put in their place.

Hello Ci,

It's good to see you posting.

Gentleness is a positive quality of intelligence . To be skillful with others is a true blessing.

We all get frustrated, stressed. I am always surprised when we are asked if we are angry- we often respond in a loud voice that we are not.

We are not running the same race, rather we are all running in our own unique directions. Accordingly there is no need to compete with each other as we are unique.

I see where you are coming form. Please make your points in an open way for all of us. I beleive we can make friends here and that this opportunity is not to be wasted.

All my very best to you!

Yes. What would you like to talk about. Is the point that everyone that is diverse thinks for themselves and no innate ideological framework concerning neurodiversity other then denoting diversity exist a good point? If some want to view autism is what is the disabled and others want to view it as what makes them great then how is this resolved. I believe this is the central most point of conflict where federal and state laws protect an individuals right to treatment and treatment advancements over that of a perceived dignity of a disorder label. If someone is not disabled and whom was once diagnosed with a form of autism then why do they not simply decline the disorder label itself? I think it is at times a social item to fit in and feel to belong where applicable is the reason why.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I would like to talk to you.

You are an intelligent person.

Personally I like to belong. I have not experienced so much of it in my life, but I believe it is possible. I am happy to be in contact with other people on the spectrum.
I am happy I can now be in contact with you.

Could you clarify for me. Are you talking about disorder v's ability?

In general, I think we have both. I could be very wrong and I know how to live with that through acceptance.

All my very best to you!

Disorder vs. Ability

I think this is where allot of conflict resides I think. Some people want to focus on ability which is great. It builds positive thinking, self-reliance and improves outcomes. Yet the disorder aspects as what some organization focus on to derive for instance treatment potential in their research for those disorder aspects are confronted by advocates that seem to at times want to focus strictly on the ability. This potentially evades treatment rights potentials by making the autism disorder aspects seem not very much evident as opposed to a great ability simply defined as a difference society is at fault for rejecting. While many times I don't believe it is intentional but emotional I believe it may be possible some political interests might seek to take advantage of our self-esteems potentially by enforcing the idea myself and others don't need help along with no or less research to help the disorder aspects.

This is an issue of social awareness ethics and is quite complicated. In the interest of protecting individual rights and along with privacy I am charged as an advocate to seek their rights are protected. Even if that means politically enticing the separating between beneficial positive advocacy and that of advocacy for research focusing strictly on the disability aspects.

This by it's nature is a human rights issue.

Hello Ci,

Yes I see your point. I remember in a subject I took at the Masters level in Social Work, long debate is always given to whether one is deserving of welfare or not. This seems to be an issue in human services in general.

On behalf of those who have disability it is only right that we seek better outcomes. In terms of those who seek a transformative approach as ability then these people should rightly also be supported as each one is on the spectrum.

It is true that not everyone is gifted. The gifted should assist those with disability as they share a similar experience although it may differ in degree.

Advocacy should be for both Disability and Ability, as most will share a unique blend of both.
Groups which see in only one way fail to recognise that reality is a two way street, not two individual lanes heading in two directions. Rather the road of life is shared.

I have disability in some respects, I also have some abilities in other respects, so I should be helpful to others.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it.

All the best to you!
