I am not sure autistic people would be the best for carrying out a conspiracy.

I'm not sure but some might more easily fall prey to a conspiracy theory from someone they trust, and if the issue is something they want to believe.

http://www.facebook.com/FightingforAuti ... ts&fref=ts

This linked group was created and dedicated to fighting against the conspiracy theorist, but it appears there may have also been a conspiracy theory generated about a young man with severe autism, who visited the page, and didn't meet acceptable or expected standards of communication for a young adult individual with severe autism. If so, hundreds of comments drug his name through the mud. This is the problem with witch hunts, they often grab innocent people and can figuratively burn them at the social stake. People on the spectrum with communication difficulties are particularly vulnerable to this in facebook groups where there is no third party moderation. Not all young adults with autism have the same privilege of abilities.

Making pages where autistics actively hunt people to name and shame will make NTs even more scared by showing them they can also gang up and get nasty instead of randomly acting alone.

Both page owners should just be BFFs and then we will have peace. :thumright:

'Am I too much for you or not enough?' (Ashleigh Brilliant).

I think that those who hate us are like people with hangovers or vampires because they cannot stand our light (energy / motion / speed and thoroughness of thought) because it makes them feel inferior, which they are. I can understand the high rate of autistic suicide, when faced with "NT" abuse / ignorance (attacking us or pretending we don't exist). They don't want us as we are but as they are because they see us as threatening. They use Ritalin and bullying to shut us up and shut us in (imprison our consciousness). They want us to be slow witted and slow moving zombies, like they are.

We're not sociable (infatuated with the past / defensive) i.e. verbally orientated but creative individuals with vision, obsessed with the future. This isn't to say that all NT's are bad and we're all good. It's about orientation and attitude towards life (love / hate - want to be here, versus not wanting to be here).

The world overwhelms us and we in turn overwhelm others with our ADHD behaviour (See 'Levity, Gravity &Shaman's Dream' forthis onmy ImageKind gallery: www.paigetheoracle.imagekind.com)

Riley, I agree about the ganging up. Individuals have the courage to stand alone - bullies always overwhelm physically and verbally. They are not creative but act like a pack of wolves or necktie party, out to tear somebody to bits because they are scared and feel justified in reacting violently to a threat that they perceive exists, even if they get the wrong target (usually the strange or strangers: See 'Quatermass and the Pit' film about eradicating the different ('Dislike of the Unlike' Terry Nation, The Daleks).

Conspiracy theorists are the lynch mob mentioned above. They don't know, so they theorize and if an idea sounds plausible, to them it becomes a fact to be acted on, not an idea to be tested against reality as science does

Lynch mobs are very scary things- once they taste blood they feed off eachother's bloodlust and cannot be reasoned with. It's like a poison it's best to try just avoid it. :ncool:

That one?
