When I first read the OP. I looked at the ???? =aspie part. I thought two thoughts at the same time. 1, that it was good representation. 2, (my personal training) wow there should be ???? as the symbol! because we are so confusing.

But then I don't like it. because we are not unknown. We are confusing but I don't think that is a good label, or an accurate label.

i remember seeing a youtube video about another aspie who discribed his condition as being "not qentirely autism, but not entirely NT either..." that placed an image of the chinese yin and yang symbol in my mind , so maybe we could use that as a symbol, only we could make the dark parts of the symbol multicolored, to represent the "spectrum" i also read alot about people being able to make out patterns in just about everything, so maybe we could try something like a circle with a pattern chain running inside it...

Yours is the best! It's cool and fitting.

If people are going to use Mumble and Data, I suggest we use Tails from the Sonic franchise. That cute little fox just screams Asperger's Syndrome to me.

The only universal symbol for autism is a Earth centered universe with a picture or a graph of planets orbiting around the Earth instead of the Sun. This is the only icon that symbolizes the Autistic self centered universe.

How about a take on the chinese symbol for evolution - ie: someone care to take it and do some photoshopping for it to make it look creative and loved?

That is actually two symbols, pronounced jing hua. However I would appreciate it if you cut down on the simplified Chinese. Traditional Chinese is better.:)
Btw, in trad Chinese:進化
