Instead of worrying about infringing on the rights of the people who own, run and support places like the Judge Rotenberg Center, they should storm that place and do whatever it takes to get those students (prisoners) out.
They should put the prisoners first. And if the law fails to do it, we should. The only reason why we shouldn't storm the place (it would take the whole city to storm it successfully) is that probably, we'll lose our freedom without the students gaining theirs. But the reason why we refrain from doing it should not be for the sake of the people who work at the JRC because we are infringing on their right to do as they please. What makes their right more important than those students' right to do as THEY please? True; if it would not help the students we shouldn't do it and and part of the reason we shouldn't is because we'd be hurting the staff for nothing, but what they are doing to the students is deplorable: punishing them for things they either can't help doing or need to do for their own survival or mental health, which nothing outweighs in many cases, but in all cases it is more important than physical health.
Do not have any mercy for these monsters. Do not have any sympathy, pity or mercy for them at all. Yes, we need to be nice to them to teach them that there is a better way, that being nice does work, but it's more important to first be nice to the students, the prisoners, teaching them that they ARE loved unconditionally. Yes, we need to be nice to the staff so that they will have kindness to pass on to the students. But don't put the staff first. Please don't.
