I still liked it, as it shows that the families of those with it are there to help, and they're unsung heroes. I am autism, and it totally sucks as I can't connect to people, but I have a beautiful mother who's there for me, who allowed me to take the years upon years to get to build a bond with her, who also accepted me, where the world didn't.
Therein lies the difference. The video isn't about people accepting their children at all. It's quite the opposite. Try to imagine a life where your mother fought your autism, and felt that she could not bond unless you were able to bond on her terms, because that's what the video promotes. The message is that autistic individuals aren't really people unless their autism is eradicated.
