Has anybody ever seen the Twilight Zone episode called "The Number Twelve Looks Like You"? If not I would reccomend watching it. I know for me personally it hits the nail on the head about how I feel about a "cure."

I have. It was so SO creepy. I know it was meant to be, but to some of us more than others, eh?

One of my favourite episodes - the ones that gave me the most emotional reactions are among my favourites.

I have had this type of thing happen to me (with clothes and hair though). I had my hair styled for the current trend, bought boots that looked like everyone elses and was told I "look great!!" I guess looking different (wearing 10 year old boots, a 7 year old coat and my normal long, slightly curly hair) is just not good enough....???

If everyone was all alike, it would truly be boring.

The only thing is - everyone should have their own uniqueness (be it NT, Autism/Aspie, gay/bi/straight, any ethnicity/race, any personal style), but we all have to accept and respect each other.

It sucks being unique and personally accepting of it - but then to have people talk down to me or dismiss me because of my own way of being.

When i heard the title, It sounded familiar, and immediately brought to mind that episode. But I didn't think it was it. It's very scary, and it always has hit close to home.

Also there is a series of books very very similar to this. I forget who it's by but it starts with the book "Uglies"
