I have been looking for some way to get medical dog tags (like ones my father wears for his allergies) for me. Anyone know where one can get some? With traveling being an issue now for someone like me (I WOULD NEVER travel alone but with my husband, and the so-called new INVASIVE security measures they have MAY AND PROBABLY WILL set me off), I'd like to have something to identify the condition I have rather than me or my husband saying what I have and no one believing me.

I think that the dog tags are a great idea. I'm going to ask my pharmacy about them.

If you want a medical alert "dog tag," just contact the leading manufacturer...Medic Alert. They will inscribe whatever you want on the tag.

Years ago I'd have been terribly embarrassed to wear anything saying I had a PDD or anything wrong with or different about my head at all. But now I think it's a cool idea, and helps us identify each other so that we can meet up.

I've been pondering this over the years. The practical benefits versus the stigma. Still not sure.
