http://www.rethinkingautism.com/

They seem to promote Nerodiversity so in my opinion, they look quite fine to me.

After seeing the video on the home page, I found I was sympathetic with the message.

Then I wondered, who is behind this? It looks very polished - like professional production would deliver. So, my question - who is funding it?

But, again, the message resonates with me.

Considering that it says "Made on a Mac" on the blog page, it was probably made by someone using iWeb, and therefore not a professional.

The message that they promote also appeals to me.

Why are there professional looking videos but a site that looks like crap? If they are incapable of coding, they should move to Wordpress.

Actually, I like the site layout very much. The message is beautiful, too, and I would be happy to thank whoever made this website! ^^

Go, Neurodiversity! Don't wipe us out! We're awesome!

That was my Neurodiversity chant (or cheer, or something).

What site layout? It's a blank white page with a messy excuse for a top navigation layout. It's bland and unappealing. I don't care to look at any part of it. There are no pictures, and everything is very poorly aligned. Then there's the turn-off page, "About Me". "About 'me'"? Is this site a one-man show?

Good intentions don't lead to good results. I know a lot about how to get attention to your website. They aren't doing it, and they aren't going to influence people much with their current mentality and haphazard design ethic. I hate to see what their SEO is like, seeing they don't even care about design. This means that they are NOT going to get their word across, because nobody will be able to find them via search engine...

These people have good intentions, but they aren't going to get anywhere the way they are going...

I really appreciate the message on this site.

However, if you look in the videos section (not the opening videos) there is a spoofy type
video and the actress does not have autism. It is stated.

What about the other speakers in the opening vid. Do they have autism?

I think the whole nature of the message would be nullified if all of those people
are neurotypical.

I want to see people with autism representing themselves!

But, I don't know... I wrote to the creator to ask her about the speakers.

There are a lot of people with Asperger's on Youtube...oh, and I found a spoof of "I am Autism", and it was hilarious! "I am Autism Speaks. I know where you live..."
