Hey guys/guyettes,

Could you please take a moment out of your oh so precious time to fill out this questionairre about how young people are represented in the media for my communications class.

Don't worry, no personal details will be collected and any feedback from people in the UK would be especially appreciated.

Thank You! ^_^.

PS. Please give feedback on how you feel I did producing it, any information you could give on polishing my end product will help with DREADED EXAMS!! :O

Well, I'm not British, but young people in the US aren't portrayed very well unless they are doing "adult" things, such as talking about how great the troops are, or starting a meaningless charity. Most of the time, kids are portrayed doing kid things, such as having fun, and drinking alcohol, and apparently that's bad, much worse than when our parents did it way back when, because they never did that kind of thing! EVER! My parents claim they never did anything like that back then...hahaha. My dad has the perfect excuse. He says that they changed the drinking age to 18 when he was 18, then they changed it back to 21, and anyone who was 18 got a special card that allowed them to drink. It's true...but even so...blah blah blah blah. They are just jealous that we are young and they are old and wrinkly, so they claim that "You don't get older, you get wiser" to make themselves feel better about aging. Self-righteous horse...manure  doesn't impress me, and the crap in the media (such as Miley Cyrus drinking a beer in Europe, oh nooo! and any other celebrity from my generation doing un-PC things...SHAME!! SHAME ON THEM!!) reeks of Puritan piety.

I am disappointed there is no free stuff

As my line of work does sometimes involve young people (I work for a training company) my own opinion is probably biased by the client group I tend to find myself working with, but I have tried to remain unbiased in my answers.

Done. :)
The only thing I would say about it is that I would have liked to elaborate or have another option on the last question. I don't think it's worse here than anywhere else, but that isn't to say I find it better or even the same, it is just a cultural thing (even in other Western countries) which makes it hard to define.

Free Hat!
Done. I don't think kids in the UK have it terribly. I'm pretty sure kids in other places of the world have it even worse. I'm not sure, though, because I don't live in the UK.
