I never understood this phenomena and would love to have it explained to me. We Aspies do not generally like to socialize and most of us hate being in groups of strangers. How does a support group offer support to us?
My sentiments exactly. If there was an AS support group down the street from me, I wouldn't go. Its not like its going to change anything. Wrong Planet serves the same purpose as far as I'm concerned.
Its kind of funny, really, the idea of a bunch of Aspies sitting in a room together, stimming, avoiding eye contact and not saying anything.
