Autistic individual plans to run for State Representative

Yes that is right I am planning to run next year for State Representative in 2012 as it will be an open seat since term limit laws are forcing my current State Rep out (he's pretty awesome but he is on his 3rd and final term as the laws will not allow him to run for a 4th term).

My current Lt. Governor is an Autism advocate himself as his daughter is diagnosed with Autism and well me and the Lt. Governor of Michigan got to discuss Autism as well when I met him

But if God willing I am elected in 2012, we will have an Autism Advocate in the State House that is actually Autistic.

We shall see what happens and I am waiting till redistricting is done to pay the candidacy deposit.

But anyways I am planning to run for State Representative and if God willing I win, it will be a victory for Autistic people for sure.

good luck i definatly think you can win.they say thomas jefferson was an idiot savant and they say joseph stalin was an idiot savant.although stalin is a villian in history he still controled one of the biggest empires in world history so it shows were capable of afective leadership.we all know jeferson was a good president

That's really cool. I've thought about running for office some day, but city politics here is a sick joke and state level politics in California are a load of crap, so I don't know. I wouldn't be able to force my own agenda but raising hell would be within the parameters of the job description as long as you don't oppose the bulk of the voters.

I would like to see how this turns out even if it is failure. How far you actually got in the process. Someonewanted me to run for office but I think it is too far away. Or rather just to much activity and change.

Is there anything that we could do to help?
