How do we change our world view so that we do not perceive ourselves as victims but become prepared to take on the bullies and beat them at their own game?

Aspies are strong minded individuals who see the world as it is and develop appropriate tactics; however, we are a minority and lose because or weight of numbers against NTs.

We should organise to mitigate this. What are your thoughts?

It is a fascinating topic. One that begins with a diagnostic label, the idea of a collective we and an assumption that i myself am outnumbered because I have a label. Most of the above can contribute to a distraction preventing success and some of which can create it. Firstly I'd begin by dropping the notion of the label toward the self and realize that a human mind is a human mind. The best way to defeat the bullies is to not often or at all even consider "them" as that to can be a distraction making a few into the many in a mental illusion.

I have no clear suggestion for you specifically on how to achieve a promising result as there is no specific task to think about subjectively.

Right mate!

What I am thinking of is mobilising in much the same manner as other minority groups an picking conficts where we can supply sufficient strength of numbers to ensure victory.

Where it not for aspies mankind would still be living in mud huts. It is time to redress the balance.

I am an absolute minded person. It is annoying to some others and at times stressful to myself because I cannot figure something out for sure. The mud huts idea I simply cannot denote as absolute fact. My brain typically then resorts to social and psychological theory. As a result of the feelings of inferiority one must then balance it mentally as a extreme superiority notion in assumption.

It is my rule in public relations outreach for autism and developmental disabilities in general conflict is not always necessary. Conflict when necessary must not be in foundation based on entirely emotion and must have a concise outcome. However unity of minds that far goes beyond that which progress is for will always defeat aggressors that seek equality whose foundation is based on devision.

These are the kinds of notions and strategies I on a daily bases deal with in my job as an advocate with a form of autism and community leader. I fathom that the online advocates are to me at least sometimes the greatest threat to positive outcomes then that of indifference and inaction itself. To devise change needs wise and thoughtful approaches.

I don't perceive myself as a victim due to AS.

A triffle niaive perhaps?

The history of the world is conflict.

Democracy, the legal system and the capitalist system is based upon conflict.

Not to engage is cowardice and negligent.

Given the above governing theory the simple coexistence and consumption based on need is a constant and therfore member of the innate conflict. The innate instincts to survive are not always pushed aside by means of uneccessary conflict. Yet rather mutual instinct to survive is best cooporatively facilitated.

Why would I want to beat them at their own game?.......to me that is too close to becoming something I would rather not be. I mean I certainly would not mind being able to stand my ground and be a bit more assertive so people will not automatically try to take advantage of me or mess with me in a less then friendly manner......but yeah I prefer not to participate in the game that bullies and those kinds of people participate in. If that makes any sense.

Well uhh about that, its not like I wanted sand kicked in my face and I had no way to really prevent it....but I do have some strengths coming off as assertive is not really one of them though.

The only way to deal with bullies is to fight back.

If you put up a good fight they will pick on an easier target.

Well I was just mostly verbally abused by the other kids at school.....and having terrible social skills, no self confidence and other such issues I did not really have any way of 'fighting' back. I probably would not have done to well in a physical fight either though.

I've changed that mentality when I was in college. I've decided to take control of my emotions and be the strong one. I've decided to set an example for the adults who were in my Work Experience programme. I've decided to set myself apart from the people who still were showing their victim mentality and living by it. I've also refused to let people see me struggle to do something, so I'd do whatever it was that I was doing as fast and effective as I could. I've started to refuse to let people see me struggle, in order to be a very strong and independent person.

Not talking about a physical fight (unless last resort).

Use your brains to fight back!
