Ari Ne’eman, President of the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network (USA) will be leading a discussion on what it means to be autistic as part of a series of events to give autistic people an opportunity to feed into ARM UK’s thinking on this subject.

WHAT IS AUTISM? Redefining autism from an autistic perspective

To date autistic people have played only a minor role in answering this question.

The Autistic Rights Movement would like to address this problem and to challenge some of the common misconceptions about autism.

I won't be able to go. I tried to ask my boss for time off, but he said no and my job is very important right now. I support the things that are going to happen, though.
