Lol sorry for the weird title... it was to make a point. I figured it belonged here since it deals with the media and it's more internet related. XD

Anyway, don't you hate when you try to look something up and you get not only stuff about autistic CHILDREN but also that mumbo jumbo about things that can cause Autism? I really hate that.

Like, just now I tried to look up ear infection and Autism because I wanted to see how they affected a child with autism since most of the time, we react differently to illness and such rather than what a normal child reacts to... but instead I got all this crap about ear infections being linked to Autism... I'm all... wtf...

It made think, "What DOESN'T cause Autism?" Not only that but you try to look something up to help understand your condition and all you get is stuff about autistic children. It's ridiculous because you would think there would be more on an adult with autism as well... it's like people think autism disappears after a certain age and they stop exploiting it after that age...

So yeah... this is sort of a rant I guess... XD

Posting about autism may cause a Temporal Rebound Effect and may be linked retroactively to autism in yourself or your children.
You just caused your own autism.

OH NOES! now I just did! /cry

I think you'll find that there is a lot of evidence that cheese DOES cause autism. I'm disappointed that you are just going to listen to the opinions of 'scientists' instead of concerned members of the public who once took a biology class. Cheese is made from milk. If the cows are happy cows then the cheese is non-autistic. If the cheese is made from the milk of unhappy cows then it contains negative cow energy, and if you eat that negative cow energy when you are pregnant it gets into the babies brain and causes autism. Therefore it is very, very important that you do not eat cheese /sarcasm.

In all seriousness, yes I know exactly what you mean. It's very frustrating to have to wade through so much rubbish to find correct information. It is quite cruel that parents are going to be lied to and told that it is somehow their fault because they fed their kids cheese/had them vaccinated or whatever.

Oh boy. I knew it tasted too good. Also, I think oranges may be worth looking into, there's something unnatural about them...... ;)

I wonder if Cow Therapy would be a good career path, you'd need a very strong couch. . .

hmmm oranges are the same color as cheese. . . maybe it's the color. . .

Personally, I feel dehumanized when people treat me different from the rest, even if it's a physical thing like an ear infection for an autistic vs. an ear infection in a NT... I'm wierd.

I grew up in Wisconsin. As a kid I ate cheese. I'm autistic. Coincidence? <Insert scary music>

I totally agree though. I'm sick of having people say "You're autism is caused by X"
Not half as much as people telling me that my connective tissue problems could be cured by yoga though...

Broccoli and omega 3 don't cause autism, I'm pretty sure.

It's settled then. Whenever we eat cheese, we have to put it on broccoli first.

It's all true. I eat cheese every day, you see, and if I can't I'll have a meltdown because the aspie bacteria in the cheese get into my brain and rewire it so I can supply their community with a steady stream of immigrants. Curse you, aspie bacteria!
