Journal: Is autism linked to criminality?

The Journal's bollocks I do not want to hate but a lot of this involves manipulation or tricking by allistic people or other NTs because the most criminal activity is done by allistic people, although autistic people can and do crimes it should be noted that crimes committed by autistic people is either in an effort to use their autism/Asperger syndrome violence sex crimes would be by manipulation grooming by predatory allistic people and the person saw the grooming as a kind of love.

I know, I wasn't able to explain further because I was not allowed to edit or delete this. I was trying to reiterate but unfortunately it sounds as though we are in agreement on here?

No I don't think so, everything is linked to everything somehow anyway but I don't think autism in particular is linked to violence more than everything else, maybe people say that because some autistics are angry sometimes but then again not all angry people are violent and there are so many angry people who are not autistic

Even if there is a causal link, I think it'd be about the same kind of link that exists between being male and engaging in criminal or violent behavior. That is, biology makes you more susceptible to the problem, but it's ultimately a societal problem, and most autistic/male people aren't violent criminals, and it's not really accurate to say that the ones who are violent criminals are that way because they are autistic/male.

I say it's rare that an autistic person would engage in a crime. It's a shame those rare cases always have to go to the media. But we also see cases where crimes are done by NTs. In fact I think people on the spectrum would less likely do a crime because of their adherence to following the rules which is why I do not buy the whole child pornography and autism thing because child porn is a crime and therefore they would not look at it because it's against the law and autistic people would be following that rule because of their adherence to rule following. But then people try and contradict it by connecting crime to autism or a couple people like John Robison and Temple Grandin's mother when they wrote about autism and child porn.
