Came across this article this morning:

http://observer.com/2015/03/news-anchor ... stic-kids/

Forgetting the off-putting headline about GPS, the line actually sounds brilliant, with clothing that has no front or back, no inside or outside, and no seams no tags.

The problem for me is that the woman behind it is someone we've never cared for, since she created that awful video.

How does one reconcile that? Can one support the clothing line when one has trouble supporting the owner?

I guess its kinda cool...though the tracking thing would make me uncomfortable, then again I am 25 and an adult, I suppose I don't think its entirely horrible for a disabled kid that could get lost/hurt from wandering if it could help track them down. But I can also see how this kind of thing can be mis-used, so a little iffy on that...but it does seem to be a cool idea for people who have major trouble getting dressed. I personally do not have quite so much trouble, my main issue is finding stuff that is comfortable...come clothes I have i can only wear out and then once I get home I have to get out of them cause they aren't comfortable for being around the house.

If it made life more tolerable for my child, I would, at least until I could find something more politically palatable.

She created that video? GPS enabled? Like for dementia? That's quite extreme.

Like dementia, it's great that we have this tech, for those that need support. Yet it's quite troubling when there's such a myopic view of our people, that appears to be getting increasingly narrow, and heavily ingrained. I'm already described as cancer that smears poo on the walls and is socially non-functional, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

When she stands behind that lectern, with that horrid symbolism on it; You have to wonder why she would, or why she would be ok with that image in the article.

Wait for the Chinese to replicate the concept without GPS tracking, and then buy it for one-quarter of the inventor's price.

Reminds me of FUBU.

If this actually comes to light I'd actually love to see this concept.
