TACAnow is evil (Defeat A$ Now!)

If you haven't heard, TACAnow is a "national organization dedicated to providing information, resources, and support to families affected by autism." Sounds good at first, huh?
Well, there's so much bad things about TACAnow let's begin with the fact their initials TACA stand for "Talk About CURING Autism"... excuse me, sir, there's no cure to say at the least...

1~ Family Stories: this is the most evil and ridiculous part of the site, where TACA claims to have 'cured' children of ASD. On a story called "My bad-*** autism survivor story..." Julia (the kids mom, the kid is Baxter) is afraid another 'autism torrent' might strike their lives again, and says her son Baxter was whacked by a 'vaccine bat' and that the 'normal-kid fairy' had no time to sprinkle 'perfect dust' onto him. Worst of all she claims to have 'cured' her son of autism.

2~ GFCF Diet: the gluten-free caisen-free diet is rubbish on so many levels unless the child has real confirmed life-threatening allergies to gluten, wheat and dairy or celiac's disease. This diet is necessary in extreme cases like celiac's disease along with supplementation of additional vitamins and minerals like vitamin A and B vitamins. the Gluten Free Caisen Free diet has been known to contribute to cancer and diabetes, which ARE diseases. Autism isn't a disease!

And oh yeah, the food, though not always nasty-tasting and sometimes actually tastes decent, has been warned that it could "spoil quickly" or "go bad fast" and is also soy free which means no tofu or tamari sauce to make things better.

3~ Autism Fearmongering: not specifically a section on their site, but if you see the "About Autism" page on TACAnow's website there's this terrible picture:

Did you see the words "Epidemic"? what epidemic, there has always been autistic people! society just hasn't recognized it until recent times, bro. and it's not a disease either.

I've just pinpointed three of the bad things about them...

I do not see any links between them and Autism Speaks besides similar approach. Dispite forming 6 years earlier they do not have anything like the influnce and power of Autism Speaks nor are they funding research.

they have claimed to 'cure' children of autism and call it a 'disease'. It is ilegal to claim that something can cure cancer so why not autism?

Like A$, TACAnow sees autism as a burden on NT parents' lives and therefore needing elimination by an aggressive approach made of GFCFSF (gluten-free caisen free soy free), mega-supplementation, strict diets and nasty stuff. They have supported CAN! (Cure Autism Now!) and DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) when those two organizations (can and dan) were still active, and A$ used to support CAN!

What are all of these organizations saying? "we're right, your wrong" thats what theyre saying

Like I said similar approach which is bad. But I would rather spend my time worrying and fighting the organization that sets the autism agenda in my country and whose influence is likely to grow further if the presumptive Republican nominee wins the election.
