Do you think that Spongebob could have aspergers or HFA?

He also seems to have ADHD if you ask me. 8O

Fictional characters can't have real disorders. They can be made to portray real disorders; but they're faking it (just like Aspie poseurs). So no, SpongeBob SquarePants does not have AS or HFA.

He's not portrayed as anymore an Aspie than he is portrayed as homosexual.

He is very whimsical, which I believe is a symptom of opiates.
He has special interests like bubble blowing and cooking, it's usually squidward who looks down on him but I think regular characters also sometimes do.
Larry the lobster.

When spongebob and Patrick were selling chocolate they got tricked and he even describes himself as naïve once I think.

I think Squidward's more aspie. He's intelligent, misanthropic and passionate about the playing the clarinet.

SBSP is no more Autistic than any other man-child character (I don't think highly of SBSP) in animation. I think people are too eager to label a character as Autistic. I know there are very few actually Autistic character in the media, but I think that it does more harm than good to go and say character X is Autistic.
