I'm still working on the formal write-up, but I went ahead and created this inforgraphic which shows the results from the self-identity poll that I took throughout April. This is very interesting to me thanks for posting this. My background is in social work which is super into the idea of "people first language". I always find myself following this by saying "they are a child with autism". If I am reading this right most of the people you surveyed would prefer to be called autistic?
