Build-A-Bear workshop has become the second corporate sponsor (that I know of, the other is Panera Bread) to end its partnership with Autism $peaks. Not sure what their rationale was, but it's still good to see the gravy train drying up little by little.

I've been to Build-a-Bear twice. The first time is kind of cool, but the second time where they make you do all that gimmicky stuff like choosing a fabric heart and making a wish before before putting it inside the stuffed animal, reciting an adoption oath and then giving it a pretend shower is kind of dumb. I just want my bear made, pay for it and go. But I did get a really cool Maleficent costume that fits the Miss Piggy doll I got the first time I went. Anyway, good for them. I hope Toys "R" Us will be next.

That's very good news in my books. Lets hope that the gravy train is dried up by the end of the year. :)
