I can relate to this

**As an adult, when both my daughters were diagnosed as autistic, I wondered if my eccentricities were similar to theirs**

Relate strongly to this. Wish it could be "stickied" here as a lot of what this woman says is stuff that some people even here on WP make dubious comments about, regarding some women's experience and pressures, and I try to explain, but feel unheard.

Yet the some aroud here keep on believing and believing and believing and believing that autism is over diagnosed. The autism experts who deal with this disagree.
