Did anybody watch the programme on channel 4 last week entitled ‘Are you Autistic?’

I thought it was a good programme highlighting undiagnosed adults with autism, mainly women.

I don’t know if the link to the programme will work outside the uk, but here it is:

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/are-you-autistic

One thing that has got me angry since this programme is this review on it:

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2018/03/ ... -mediocre/

The reviewer and the comments at the bottom are so ignorant and ill-informed that it makes me angry that people will belittle the issues of higher functioning autistic people because we aren’t autistic enough for them.
They have completely missed the point of the programme which was to highlight the fact there is a lot of people going undiagnosed for various reasons, who struggle with everyday life and could do with some help.

Maybe it’s just that my head isn’t in a very good place at the moment as I’m struggling with ‘coming out’ about my autism and vile comments like in this article don’t help at all
