In light of what has been going on elsewhere on Wrong Planet I want to thank the participants of this section for demonstrating that we can debate issues we care about deeply but sharply disagree on civilly.

I want to thank you for your long record of unbroken civility APOM. It is this that has set and maintained the standard in this particular subforum and your influence has borne fruit.
