Bus driver kicked autistic child off bus for singing

I read in a magazine that a woman and her 5-year-old autistic son got kicked off a bus because he kept singing, and it left them stranded.

The bus-driver said he couldn't concentrate so he forced them to get off the bus. I don't think this is fair, because there's always a kid screaming or making an annoying noise on buses and the driver cannot kick them off. But when it comes to an autistic child happily singing, oh that's different.

Just wanted to rant.

That is one NUTTY bus driver....

The driver might also have been autistic, undiagnosed perhaps, and the kid's singing might have hurt his ears and ruined his ability to drive the bus safely.

Tough situation. No amount of acceptance and tolerance makes autism simple.

You're certainly right about that. I missed that bit where he left the mother and the kid stranded.
