Career Leftist history of impediment autism rights
1) Chuck Schumer, the very same Chuck Schumer that called 1/6 the day that will live in infamy and wanted to put all the Trump supporters that went to the U.S. Capitol that day on the "No-Fly" list, sponsored or cosponsored every itineration of Avonte's Law which would fund tracking devices across the country for autistic children and wards. Avonte's Law was strongly denounced by the neurodiversity movement, Ari Ne'eman and ASAN.
2) Nancy Pelosi had autism excluded from the Affordable Care Act of 2011 (H.R. 3200) that provides funding for Home and Community Based services (HCBS) that support mainstream inclusion and self-determination for autistic adults.
3) Charlie Crist, another Swamp congressman, former Florida governor, and now the 2022 gubernational rival against incumbent Governor DeSantis, has been applauded by Autism Speaks for pushing through state legislature, backing, and signing a bill requiring insurance companies to cover the infamous Applied Behavior Analysis as state governor. Christ is endorsed by the swamp and George Soros and Christ's running mate, Karla Matz, is a teacher's union president of Miami Dade County that has publicly mourned the death of communist dictator and mass murderer Fidel Castro.

4) Bills that would restrict gun rights to certain people with autism was voted by famous swamp members like AOC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Crist were also condemned by Ari Ne'eaman.
The same congress that didn't want to make a bill stopping the infamous Judge Rotenberg Center would rather pass a bill that hires 87,000 armed IRS agents. Communism and Socialism are not only the wrong solutions to real problems and barriers to equal rights and opportunities that people with autism and other neurodiversity conditions face. The Democrat party is not better if not worse than the right wing Trumpservatives and the Republican party when it comes to the progress of equal neurodiversity rights. From Day 1 of Trump's Inauguration, the Disability Rights community has understandably been scared of the Trump Administration and especially his first AG, Jeff Sessions. It's true that Trump clearly called for reinstitutionalization of the "seriously" mentally ill after the Dayton and El Paso shootings. And it's also true that Clarence Thomas a close ally of Trump, has spoken out against the Olmstead v. L.C. decision But Trump has made signs of progress for the disability right movement by signed bills dropping the ban on people using certain social security welfare needed for support for many people with autism from buying and owning guns, as well as extending the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program.

I agree with where you are going with this but you need to provide more links. The one link you provided was from 2008 when the belief that Autism should be cured was nearly universal, a situation that has changed. Does Crist still feel that way?
Yes, Congress recently failed to pass a law prohibiting the use of electric shocks at the JRC
The vast majority JRC residents have for years been from New York City. This is no accident. A bill that would stop the practice of sending New Yorkers to the JRC unless they stop shocking people seems to have stalled out.
Red Flag Laws "permit police to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from a person who they believe may present a danger to others or themselves. A judge makes the determination to issue the order based on statements and actions made by the gun owner in question". Autistic atypical body language and speaking styles could be perceived as presenting a danger to others.
The "woke" censorship for "correct" ideas and language hurts Autistics who are genetically "wired" to use blunt and literal language. Unfortunately, all the sources about this require membership. James Damore is the most famous case of this. Google asked for feedback from their employees about their diversity program. It was understood by most that certain answers were expected. Damore interpreted the instructions literally and gave an opinion that was not wanted and was said to make his fellow employees feel unsafe. Damore was fired.

This tbh, tho leftists, at least in principle, have the tendency to at least try to care about various minorities. Equality is, after all, the principal value of the left.
This is opposed to the right, whose principle value is tradition. If it's a country's tradition to provide rights and welfare for people, then the right might support such notions on these grounds. But if it isn't, like it isn't in most countries, then gg.

This is BS. The left really only claims that they care about various minorities and yet many people fall for that.
Neither party really cares unfortunately, but at least Biden doesn’t go around mocking disabled journalists and blatantly calling Autism a disease like his immediate predecessor.

No, the left does far more than just "claim" they care about various minorities. The left today, at least here in the U.S.A., consists of, primarily, an alliance of activist groups representing various marginalized demographic groups.
But there are three problems:
1) Only those marginalized demographics that are sufficiently well-organized have a place at the table in that alliance. The autistic community's number one problem, IMO, is that we are vastly under-organized. We need a lot more than just ASAN. (For examples of various kinds of groups we need, see my Longterm visions for the autistic community and Autistic Workers Project.)
2) The left is not the same thing as the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party exists to get politicians elected, and, to that end, needs money -- much more money than the organized left itself can provide. So the Democratic Party is not truly leftist, but an uneasy compromise between the left and various moneyed interests.
3) While I think leftist groups are mostly justified in the reforms they ask for, sometimes they make big mistakes. ("Defund the police" is one of them, IMO. Major police reform, of various kinds, is desperately needed, but a call for "defunding" is counterproductive on many levels IMO.)

The above-linked Wikipedia article on James Damore did not mention his autism except in a footnote referencing this news story: 'I see things differently': James Damore on his autism and the Google memo by Paul Lewis, Guardian (U.K.), Fri 17 Nov 2017.
The Guardian article says the following about the unfortunate timing of his memo:
This likely explains why he was fired. As part of its defense against the above-mentioned class action lawsuit, Google may have decided to fire Demore in order to prove that Google did not tolerate anything even remotely resembling disparagement of women's abilities.
As the article then goes on to say:
Well, yes, companies routinely fire people as a way of dealing with public relations crises.

There were a few well-read articles that came out at the time making the same point I did but like I said they now require membership. 2017 as I recall was the year #MeToo broke. The suit was probably the reason Google created the questionnaire with the purpose of firing people who wrote down the "wrong" answer.
The company culture of Google is "left".
A Leaked Video Shows Google Leadership Reacting To Trump's 2016 Election Win
The video, which was published by Breitbart News, is certain to add fuel to conservative arguments that Silicon Valley is arrayed against the right.
In the video, Google's executives speculate about what motivated Trump voters, the role companies like Google played in informing voters about the election, and the possible consequences of Trump's win.
"We have no idea what direction this country will take... It's a period of great uncertainty... especially for immigrants or minorities [and] women," Brin told Google employees. Brin noted, "As an immigrant and a refugee, I certainly find this election deeply offensive, and I know many of you do too."
Google responded to the leaked video in a statement on Wednesday that emphasized the distinction between its employees' personal views and the products they create.
"At a regularly scheduled all-hands meeting, some Google employees and executives expressed their own personal views in the aftermath of a long and divisive election season," the statement reads. "For over 20 years, everyone at Google has been able to freely express their opinions at these meetings. Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products. To the contrary, our products are built for everyone, and we design them with an extraordinary care to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint."
In the video, Google executives seek to explain the reasons behind Trump's upset of Hillary Clinton and specifically consider the psychology of Trump voters. "There's actually a lot of historical precedent for boredom being a huge factor in vote choice, and actually in building extremism," Brin said. "Also when people vote ... voting is not a rational act."
Larry Page, Brin's cofounder, characterized the resentment felt by Trump voters as both justified and potentially catastrophic. "I think we have a lot of structural problems in our democracies, and which I think is really, if you are worried about the World War III–type cases, I think a lot of that will be driven by this deep dissatisfaction that people have, some of which is really warranted."
The video offers ample proof that Google leadership finds Trump and his supporters distasteful and contrary to the company's stated values. It doesn't show, though, any evidence that Google's tools are built to disadvantage conservatives. The closest thing to that happens when a Google employee asks the executives how the company might combat "targeted campaigns of disinformation" to protect "low-information voters" — a clear reference to Trump backers.

Both the Repubs and Dems suck, it's just that this SJW this and cancel that associated with the left (and the Dems cater to this) is out of hand and is just as much a danger. Everyone is talking about the right being dangerous but few people talking about the danger of the left? Why? The Overton window has shifted to the left for decades. Reagan made a brief pause to the trend in the 80s.
I'm for the current large countries of the world order breaking into smaller polities anyway, so groups of people who are too high in population should not have to live under one single uniform set of politics.
Ah. Thanks. I think Trump is right and Biden is left?
