This afternoon, as I was driving home, I saw a van that had an Asperger's bumper sticker. I had my camera with me, so I snapped a shot of the back of that van from the inside of my car.

It reads: "Honk if you love someone with Asperger's".
This is the first time that I've seen an Asperger's bumper sticker on a car.
As you can see, the van also had an Autism Speaks sticker as well as an Autism Awareness ribbon.

I've actually seen a car that had a bumper-sticker that read "My Asperger's child aced the test that your child failed."

wow... sweet deal. If everyone had a sticker like that if they had someone effected in their family or a friend I think you would see many of these stickers, probably 5-10% of all vehicles would have such a sticker ASD's are more and more common just in the 10-20 years since I was DX'ed the number shot up from 1:10,000::1:166. Heh. I thought I was so special in the early-mid 90's cause it was much rairer, now I (or we) certainly are not so much anymore.

They have lots of this stuff... and all proceeds go directly to families who can't afford treatments.

Hi! I have a bumper sticker that reads loud and clear."PROUD PARENT OF A CHILD WITH AUTISM", and I logged onto www. cafepress.com for more stickers..I am choosing one that is black and white with "AS(Pi symbol)E on it, pretty cool... With my Rush decals, it adds a clever acknowledgement to those who truly understand us.........Peace.

As for that store?

I don't trust them!

I don't know if I would want a bumper sticker that says "Honk if you love someone with Aspergers".
Car honks scare me pretty bad even when I am doing the honking. I would ever be waiting for that honk out of nowhere to come just because someone read my bumper sticker.
I like the general idea a lot, just not the honking part.
