This is one of the compelling reasons why I am working with my church to do an audit for accessability to the church and its program. I think someone from another church said it best:

"We parents fight the schools, then we fight the government, then we fight with other parents, then we fight the doctors. The last place we want to fight for our child's rights is our church."

Do you think that helping people with autism come from the church, school or both?

I feel both would have different things to offer and be benficial.
