Anyone who has seen this is probably thinking the same. Are the people on this show Aspies?
My friend who also has AS came across it first, and he said they have AS, and I watched it, and most of the characters seemed like Aspies.

I thought this too, but it annoyed me, then I later learned he's apparently meant to be an aspie. Just seems like another annoying stereotype to me though. Irritating.

From the very begining I've felt that Sheldon is an Aspie....
He's the reason why I watch the show. He reminds me of my
son.

I think there are a few Aspies there.

Sheldon is the most "typical" Aspie, but the other three are at least within reach of the spectrum.

I love Sheldon!

My favorite Sheldon quote is: "That wasn't sarcasm? Ooooo, you are all over the place this morning."

At times I feel like I need a sarcasm sign.

ooooo I love the big bang theory!! It's my favorite show! (though I don't watch a whole lot of tv otherwise)

I think sheldon is the most "classically" aspie (or most stereotypical, if you want) but it seems like all of them have aspie-traits, except for Penny, of course, who for the most part is "normal"

Leonard is probably the more typical aspie though. Kind of nerdy and awkward, and never really knows what to say or do in social situations, but wants to have normal relationships with people.

And they're totally realistic, too. I even know one guy who's like Sheldon.

I am definitely a fan. I see a lot of me in the characters. I think it's great.
