Change.org for autistics

This is a relatively new site for people on the spectrum to make their voices heard in the "new administration" and hopefully? get some assistance or at least acknowledgeent that we exist .

There's been a little confusion about the change (dot) org site and the change (dot) gov site.

Change (dot) ORG is a private social action network that was started in 2005. It hosts the new joint blog by Dora Raymaker of ASAN and parent Kristina Chew. Though the blog has been up for only a few days, it already looks excellent.

Change (dot) GOV is the website of the Obama transition team. It is running an "Open for Questions" feature. If you sign up on change (dot) gov, you can post your own question to the Obama transition team, and you can vote on whether or not you like existing questions. If you search the questions for "autism" you can see what's been posted so far. If you search for "autism policymaking" you can see the question I posted:

"What will the Obama administration do to ensure that autistic people, as the primary stakeholders, will be able to participate meaningfully in policymaking on autism issues?"

If you like my question you can vote for it, or you can go and ask one of your own!
