I made this, because I get angry at autism curebies, and I want to make my opinion heard.

I also wanted to share it with everyone.

I like making these videos, so if anyone has an ideas for them, let me know!

Cool, I like it, it has some Tim Burton's flavor (or maybe it's just me being obsessed with Burton )

I agree that the cure is personality murder, but it's much smaller than the changes you go thru during puberty, which also qualifies as death of your childhood personality.

Incidentally, I got a comment on my channel today, that says I should consider what a burdon I am to him (a coplete stranger) my family (whom he has never met) and society in general.
I am so angry with people like that.
Some people don't only want a cure, they would probably prefer it, if we just killed ourselves.

wow that's a powerful video, really gets the point across I like the music, who is it by?

I'm expecting some really hypocritical comments from thsoe who endorse scary monster autistic children commercials as a form of awareness to come in and say "HOW DARE YOU RARRRRRRRRR!! !"

I've just gotten the first of the trolls for the video on youtube. I had an interesting debate with the last troll I had on my Speaking is Not Communication video... at least, I thought it was interesting. I'm still laughing over his attempts to persuade me that I'm not autistic at all, but am really bipolar. I probably shouldn't have quoted the DSM at him.

Yeah, Tim Burton. Exactly what I was going for.


I don't think puberty is a personality death; it's just a huge amount of change and development in a short period of time.

Gotta be careful with that tree imagery. Because some trimming is actually good for a tree, to help it grow better. But you gotta be careful with what you're cutting so you don't accidentally kill the tree.

See, I think I'm too nice for my own good. I actually try to engage the trolls in an intelligent conversation. And then it happens that I start pulling out my roomie's psychology textbooks and quoting stuff at them, which apparently gets them to shut up.

Well, things are getting interesting with the comment conversation on YouTube.

If anyone wants to jump into the fray, go right ahead. He seems to be concerned about autism as a mental impairment that is incurable, that those of us who are "high functioning" are not impaired. Basically, he's belittling "high-functioning" autistics and aspies, saying that those "low functioning" cannot get jobs, go to college/university or be anything other than disabled and have no gifts or strengths, and so must be cured.

I'm doing all the work here! Someone please help me.
